Questions Roofers & Gutter Contractors are Commonly Asked

FAQS

  • What kind of roof warranties are available?

USA Roofing & Gutters, LLC is a Certified Platinum Preferred Contractor with Owens Corning. With this certification, we are able to offer transferable extended warranties up to 50 years. However, every roof we install comes with a standard Manufacturer Warranty along with a No Leak Workmanship Warranty.

  • How long does the average job take?

The average roofing project takes between 1 to 2 days to complete depending on the size and complexity of the roof and weather conditions.

  • When can you start the roofing job?

Typically, we start the job 1-2 weeks after the work order is signed. However, some jobs may start later depending on weather, backorder on materials, or current jobs we are working on.

  • Do you perform a thorough clean up?

Yes! We use tarps to collect as much debris as possible and to protect any landscaping. We clean up debris daily using a dump trailer and use yard magnets to sweep the perimeter of the house. We perform a final inspection after the roof is installed.

  • Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes! We offer start-to-finish insurance claim support. We have developed a strong working relationship with many of the nation’s leading insurance companies to ensure you get the best possible results depending on your insurance roofing coverage.

  • Do you offer roof financing?

Yes! We know that it can be challenging to afford the services you need for roofing and gutters. That’s why we are proud to offer short term and long term financing with low interest rates. We accept Discover, Visa, Mastercard, cash, check, and other payment options.

  • Do I have to pay my deductible?

Yes; Your deductible is similar to a copay at a doctor’s office. Your deductible is your portion of the insurance claim. For example, if the replacement cost value for your roof is estimated by your insurance company at $10,000 and your deductible is $1,000, this means that the insurance company will pay $9,000 and you will be responsible for the remaining $1,000.

  • Do you have insurance?

Yes! We have been licensed, bonded, and insured for 20 years.

  • Will there be a project manager on the job site?

Yes! For all of our jobs, we make sure there is a project manager on the job site. Our project mangers perform our checks and balances for quality control, ensuring all details are completed properly. Also if any questions or problems occur, the project manager is there to help and assist you right away.

  • Do I need to be there?

This is entirely your choice! Some homeowners prefer to remain home during the roof installation process and others prefer to leave the property during installation due to how noisy the process is. However, our project managers do a great job of keeping you informed of the job.

  • How much does a roof cost?

There are many factors that determine the price of a roof replacement. Some of the main factors are: square footage, architectural complexity, steepness, height, attic ventilation, flashing, and type of shingle used. For more roof cost details click here

  • Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer senior citizen, military, law enforcement, and first responder discounts. We also have a referral incentive program.

  • Could the roof cost more than the estimate?

Yes; Our inspectors are very thorough when visiting a property for the first time. During an install, some necessary unforeseen repairs may arise. Some of these include additional layers of shingles (which are not always identifiable at the edge of the roof line) and damaged or rotten wood decking or rafters. These items could raise the total cost of the job. However, our project managers work to keep our customers informed of any additional work outside of the original estimate that needs to be done, along with providing pictures showing what is damaged.
