Who is Covered?
To be eligible for the Platinum Protection Roofing System Limited Warranty, your property must be located in the United States and you must be the original consumer purchaser or the first transferee from the original consumer purchaser of the Platinum Roofing System. The Platinum Protection Roofing System Warranty may be transferred one time at any time during the life of the warranty within sixty days after the real estate transfer date. The roof must be installed by an Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractor according to the Owens Corning application instructions to be eligible for the Platinum Warranty.
How Long Are You Covered?
This varies depending on what plan you select. As a Platinum Preferred Contractor we are able to offer 5, 10, 15, and 50 year non-prorated TruPROtection Period Product Warranties and 10 year to Lifetime Workmanship Warranties backed by Owens Corning. Most roofing shingle products are prorated after 5 to 10 years including Lifetime Limited Warranties.
